A veteran of the police force, Officer Bells was appointed to the position of Canandaigua School Resource Officer in September, 2006. Officer Bells brings over 18 years of Law Enforcement experience to the Canandaigua City School District. He served more than 3 years as a Seneca County Sheriff's Deputy, and worked part time for the New York State Park Police. His previous 15 years have been with the Canandaigua Police Department as a member of the road patrol division.

Officer Bells enjoys spending time off with his family and doing computer graphic and web design. In the Spring and Summer months he announces Little League Baseball and Softball games and is the League Information Officer on the Seneca Falls Little League Board of Directors. Officer Bells is also the announcer for the Mynderse Academy Varsity Soccer Program.
