A veteran of the police force, Officer Bells was appointed to the position of Canandaigua School Resource Officer in September, 2006. Officer Bells brings over 17 years of Law Enforcement experience to the Canandaigua City School District. He served 3 years as a Seneca County Sheriff's Deputy, and worked part time for the New York State Park Police. His previous 13 years have been with the Canandaigua Police Department as a member of the road patrol division.

Officer Bells enjoys spending time off with his family and doing computer graphic and web design. In the Spring and summer months he coaches Little League Baseball, announces the Baseball and Softball games and is the League Information Officer on the Seneca Falls Little League Board of Directors. In the late summer and fall months Officer Bells can be found designing and preparing for the season's haunt at The Seneca Falls Haunted House.
